Our Story

Good Karma started as a way to share positivity in the community and cultivate a culture of kindness. Our owner, Sunny, came up with the idea after living through a traumatic experience that reminded him how crucial it is to live life to the fullest. After searching for a way to influence the community positively, his mind turned towards his dad, who shares food from his restaurant with first responders every 9/11. They sat down, had a chat, and Good Karma was born. Nothing brings people together like food— at least that’s what we think.

We strive to live up to our namesake and try to incorporate as many positive practices into the business as we can. No one should have to go hungry, period. That’s why we have our community board. Customers have the opportunity to sponsor a bowl of food an place a pin on the board— the pin can later be used by someone in need of a free meal in place of currency. Good Karma makes sure that there are always at least five pins on the board, but anyone who wants to sponsor a bowl is encouraged to do so and share the good.
